Mel is a health-nut mom, International yoga teacher, reiki healer, energy health coach, and personal chef.  She has been teaching and guiding students in the world of yoga for over 13 years. She is so passionate around teaching, spiritual growth & self awareness, and using yoga as a vassal to help those connect & evoke their Devine feminine and women empowerment.

Texas born & raised, Me has been a continuous student of yoga since 2002 and has been guiding students as their teacher through the beauty & flow of many different styles of yoga. She started her journey in the heated rooms of Bikram yoga which led her to explore the benefiting yoga world & has been hooked since! Mel completed her 200 hr under the International Yoga Federation in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is certified to teach 7 styles of yoga; Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yoga Integral, Raja Yoga (Meditation), Restorative Yoga, Artistic Yoga, and Traditional Hatha Yoga. In 2010, She completed her second 200 hr & Level 2 Advance Power Vinyasa training with Core Power Yoga in Denver Co. Mel completed her Ayurvedic Health Coach certification under Deepak Chopra in 2015. She also completed her Barre3 Certification in 2016.

 

In 2017 Mel is working on her 100 hr Yoga Therapy certification under Dr. Bo Forbes. In 2018, Mel started her 500 E-RYT certification with Yoga Medicine.

 

 

Building confidence and inspiring others through her passion for yoga and contagious positive energy, Mel brings a fun-loving, easy-going, and ecstatic experience to each of her classes. Mel's passion revolves around holistic health, nutrition, fitness & being a mom. She enjoys trying local foods, traveling, drinking a good cup of coffee, and spending time with her husband & her two sweet baby girls!
